Spring training

Springs have been used in gyms for many years, ever since the Pilates reformer used springs as a means of resistance.

Springs as well as resistance bands obey Hooke's law but a little differently. The more you push them, the more resistance they produce.

But is resistance band training the same as spring training? Yes, and springs are even better because they don't lose their resistance over time unlike resistance bands, but they always exert the exact same resistance even after millions of repetitions.The springs do not cut as can happen with bands and do not lose their shape. As a result, they have a more linear and progressive resistance compared to resistance bands.
